Frequently Asked Questions

Dispatch
Do you offer 24/7 support?

Yes. Our team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including nights, weekends, and holidays. If something comes up on the road at 2am, we’re there.

What paperwork do you handle?

We handle everything — rate confirmations, Bills of Lading (BOLs), broker communications, check calls, and invoicing. You focus on driving, we handle the office work.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

No contracts. No commitments. You can cancel anytime. We earn your business every single week by delivering results.

What do you charge for dispatch?

We charge 5% per load — that’s it. No setup fees, no monthly fees for dispatch, no hidden charges. We only get paid when you get paid.

Do I have to accept every load you find?

No. You always have the final say. We present you with load options and you decide what works best for you. We never book a load without your approval.

Do you work with brand new MC holders?

Yes — absolutely! We specialize in working with new MC owners. Most dispatchers won’t touch a new authority but we built SafeHaul specifically to help new carriers get started, get loaded, and start making money fast. You don’t need experience — just a truck and the drive to earn.

How fast will I get my first load?

Most of our carriers get their first load within 24-48 hours of signing up. We have strong broker relationships and access to thousands of loads across all 48 states — so we get to work immediately finding you the best paying freight.

What types of trucks do you dispatch?

We dispatch Dry Van, Reefer (refrigerated), and Flatbed carriers. Whether you run a single truck or a small fleet — we have a plan for you.

What states do you cover?

We cover all 48 contiguous states. Our team finds loads in the lanes that work best for your home base and preferred routes.

How do you find loads?

We use multiple load boards, direct shipper relationships, and our own established broker network to find the highest paying loads available for your truck type and lanes. We don’t just take the first load we find — we negotiate for the best rate possible.

Safety & Compliance
Can you help me set up my new MC?

We help new carriers with everything MC & DOT activation, UCR registration, BOC-3 filing, and FMCSA portal setup. We make sure you’re 100% legal before your first load. This service is available as a standalone ($150) or included in our compliance plans.

Can you help me find insurance?

Yes. We connect you with trusted trucking insurance providers who work with new MC holders. We make sure your coverage meets all broker and FMCSA requirements so you’re never rejected from a load due to bad insurance.

Can you help me find a factoring company?

We connect you with reliable factoring companies that pay within 24 hours of delivery including new MC friendly options with no long-term contracts and low factoring rates.

Can you help me set up my ELD?

Yes. We recommend the right ELD device for your operation, help with setup and activation, and monitor your ELD and HOS logs ongoing to keep you compliant. ELD violations are one of the most common and costly issues for carriers — we make sure it never happens to you.

What happens if I get a roadside violation?

Don’t panic — contact us immediately. We help you review the violation, file a DataQ challenge if the violation was incorrect, and advise you on corrective actions to protect your CSA score. This service is available for $150 per violation or included in our Monthly Compliance plan.

Can you help me prepare for a DOT audit?

Yes. A DOT audit can be overwhelming but we walk you through the entire process. We organize your driver qualification files, vehicle maintenance records, and all required documents — and we do a mock audit walkthrough so you’re fully prepared. This service is $350 or included in our Monthly Compliance plan.

Do you file IFTA for me?

Yes. We handle your entire quarterly IFTA filing — calculating miles and fuel per state from your ELD and trip records, preparing the return, submitting it, and alerting you before every deadline. Missing IFTA deadlines leads to fines and license suspension — we make sure that never happens.

IFTA deadlines:
• Q1 (Jan–Mar) → April 30
• Q2 (Apr–Jun) → July 31
• Q3 (Jul–Sep) → October 31
• Q4 (Oct–Dec) → January 31

IFTA filing is $150 per quarter standalone or included in our Monthly and Full Management plans.

Can you help me get permits?

Yes. We help you identify what permits you need, purchase them correctly, and coordinate state-specific requirements — including oversize, overweight, and trip permits. Permit service is $100 + cost of permit.
